“Excellent first tarp. This tarp is fantastic, well made, light and roomy, plus Dan is super friendly and easy to get in touch with. It's my first tarp and was easy to setup, especially with the videos he made. Thanks Dan!”

“This thing id dope. I came from owning the SOL escape bivy and I’m not a very big guy at 5’3”. I was crampt at the shoulders. This bivy is a lot more roomy and also has a bug net. Also is lighter and compressed to about 1/3 the size. Love this thing and I would recommend it to anyone considering getting into using bivy’s.”

“Looks good! I just received this bivy, unpackaged and laid it out and inspected it. Although I haven’t used it outdoors yet I can tell this will work out great. I’m familiar with the materials used as I’ve made gear of my own with these same materials and I am confident this will keep the rain off of me and my quilt and also keep the insects out. The sewing and craftsmanship are great!! Good stuff.”

My Story.

My name is Dan, trail name Hot Pink. I am the founder of ANDA.

In 2018, I went on my first thru-hike along the John Muir Trail (Nüümü Poyo Trail) with my wife and two friends. That first thru-hike changed my perspective on how fleeting human existence is in relation to the timelessness and magnitude of the outdoors. I was filled with an immense level of gratitude and humility on that trip, and would be reminded again repeatedly during later trips as I hiked along the Pacific Crest Trail and Colorado Trail.

I hope to help others achieve a similar experience while being immersed in nature by providing ultralight, quality, eco-friendly gear.
